Project Undertaken: Fishpond Management
After due deliberation among ourselves, we concluded that we would manage our already established fish pond to ensure a better output.

Capital/Source
We started with a capital of about ₦46, 650 and the money was sourced from the coffers of the fish department.

Harvest/Processing
Our harvest; processing was done in two batches. The first harvest took place on the 11th of April, 2018 and about 200 fish were harvested and processed, while the second was done in May 2018.

Total Expenditure
At the end of our project, we made a total expenditure of about ₦322,000.

Sales
Our sales were done in churches in Lagos. At the end of the sales which were in 2 batches, we were able to sell 90% of our harvested price

Evaluation
We carried out a fish project and we were all fully involved in the project. The plan was carried out by 5 OSJ novices, from 21st November, 2017 - June, 2018 and our novice master was duly informed about the fish project. We started the fish project with post-fingerlings of about 2019 in number. We evaluated the project ourselves under the supervision of our novice master. Although friends who came around also made their contribution as regards ways of going about which were duly followed.

They were growing well within the first two months but later on we discovered that some were having stunted growth which we had to separate from those growing well. Although we had lost about 519 fish along the line and harvested the rest and made sales of about ₦323,000. Where we had this project was in our novitiate community, Obada-Oko, Abeokuta., and this project was evaluated based on the state of growth and their survival on monthly intervals.
